Description	:	Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union, one of New York's largest Credit Unions is looking for qualified applicants to join our progressive organization. Due to tremendous growth, we have an opportunity for a full-time Consumer Loan Processor in the Consumer Lending department of our Poughkeepsie, NY location. The successful candidate will provide information on loan products and applications to members and branch staff. Process applications received via fax, email, mail or Internet and enters information into the automated loan processing system. Prepare loan documents, disburses loan proceeds and performs associated maintenance. Verifies enrollment and disburses student loan advances. Ensures receipt of all loan documents for finalized new loans and performs corrections as needed. Responsible for monitoring the queue and processing expired and canceled loan applications. Consumer Loan Processor candidates must have a High School diploma or equivalent certificate required. Experience in a lending or financial services environment preferred. Must be able to file alphabetically, communicate effectively with internal and external customers. Must be able to use a standard Keyboard and PC, perform basic mathematical functions and use an adding machine.
